Looking back and looking ahead

Looking back on 2023
Together with our customers, employees, partners and suppliers, we have realized many successful projects. During our demonstrations of the HEUFT ovens, ZELA machines and CREARE frying lines, visitors were able to gain inspiration and tips and it was also fun networking. In 2023 there were the Bakkersvak and IBA trade fairs. During the IBA we mainly presented the innovations of the ZELA machines and put the CREARE frying line on the international map. It was a treat to be here as an exhibitor and to receive so much interest from all sides. Our products, machines and ovens have been further innovated this year, with sustainability and energy saving being the most important pillars, just like last year. All this would not have been possible without the efforts and involvement of everyone. We would like to thank everyone for their trust in our company and the great cooperation!

2024
2024 will be all about efficiency, sustainability and collaboration. Furthermore, as a company we respond to the changing market so that our services are tailored to the needs of the customer. Peter Eversdijk: “Personnel, automation and the energy transition will again be important themes in 2024. For EverBake, this means that we further develop our machines as far as possible in the field of automation and make them as energy efficient as possible. With the HEUFT ovens we offer bakers the opportunity to work energy neutrally so that they can choose at any time which energy source is used. In 2024, there are already a number of great projects planned for HEUFT, bakeware and ZELA, where we are playing an increasingly important role in the industrial bakery sector.”

Family business
Peter continues: “Together with my sons Thom and Nick, EverBake is increasingly taking shape as a family business. My experience and the fresh perspective of my sons ensure that we continue to respond to the changing market. We complement each other well with each of our competencies. Nick has a commercial attitude and is very service-oriented to our customers. By listening carefully to the market, he offers solutions that I had not yet thought of. Thom is the man with the numbers and provides an overview. Last year, a new ERP and automation system was rolled out for EverBake. Thom has successfully implemented this in our company. It’s nice to see that my sons are taking it so well.”

Business philosophy
This year, our company philosophy once again revolves around short lines, personal contact and quick action. This way we can respond quickly and flexibly to the ever-changing needs of the market. Projects, orders, but also events and problem solving are handled as efficiently as possible in this way.
